I got off of FB, along with Instagram & Whatsapp (owned by FB) in 2020, after hearing Dr. Mercola interview the author of Technology in the Age of Surveillance Capitalism, which exposes much nefariousness. I'm still waiting for the mass exodus from FB - I know so many people who KNOW better, but can't seem to make the break - telling themselves they "have to" use it for business or maintaining connections or whatever. As with everything else "offered" by the technocratic control system, we are free to opt out...
Are you familiar with Michael McKibben and Leader Technologies? Chandler stole their patent making it open source which enabled these platforms to flourish.
